Last night on the show, George interviewed the writer of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' novels, George R.R. Martin.

He talked about his writing process, why he writes women characters so well and so differently from other authors, his choice to be a 'conscientious objector' to the Vietnam War and his decision to show the two sides of war: the gruesome and the glorious.

Unfortunately, we couldn't air the full interview on the program - so here is the complete conversation with the acclaimed author.
