Carmen Aguirre On Terrorism
May 2, 2012
submit to reddit

First time novelist Carmen Aguirre may have won the 2012 Canada Reads competition, but not everyone was a fan; panelist Anne France-Goldwater called her a 'bloody terrorist' during one of competition's heated debates. In this clip, Aguirre responds to France-Goldwater's allegations and shares her definition of terrorism.

She'll be on the show tonight, along with musician Rick Springfield.

Carmen is currently touring with her one-woman show, 'Blue Box'. She might be appearing near you in the next little while. Check out her tour dates below:

Vancouver - May 1-12 - The Vancouver East Cultural Centre
Toronto - May 22-26 - Theatre Passe Muraille
Victoria - June 1-2 - Uno Festival
Calgary - June 16-22 - Magnetic North Festival
