A Canada Day Literary Fantasy

Okay, so it's Canada Day. The BBQ is almost set. Hamburgers and hot dogs are bought. Cold beverages are in the cooler. Your family is on the way.

The only thing missing is that unique guest to tell wild tales and keep the party interesting ...

If only you could invite one Canadian author to liven things up. Would it be Douglas Coupland to talk Canuck kitsch? Naomi Klein to talk politics or maybe Robert Munsch to keep the kids occupied?

Well, the Historica-Dominion Institute surveyed Canadians on which writer they'd want at their BBQ and some Canadian icons made the list.
