Brian Linehan was a pioneer of Canadian TV. His show City Lights featured interviews with many of the entertainment world's biggest names in the 1980s. Made in Canada but syndicated around the world, Brian's show shared some of this country's biggest talent with a global audience.
Brian passed away in 2004 after being diagnosed two years earlier with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. This week, The Brian Linehan Charitable Foundation's website (BrianLinehan.ca) launched a co-venture with the Toronto International Film Festival and the National Screen Institute to release many of Brian's interviews online.
