What do a fashion designer and a musician get out of a visit to an art gallery? A lot. In these videos, created to promote Tate's family of galleries, designer Vivienne Westwood and producer, singer and songwriter Ghostpoet discuss how some of the art at London's Tate Gallery has inspired them and fed into their work.

Westwood knows plenty about visual style: back in the seventies, she helped bring modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream. In this vid, she talks about her connection with Whistler's 'Nocturne in Blue and Silver' and 'Oxford Street Building Site 1' by Frank Auerbach:

Ghostpoet gets into the relationship between visual art and being a musician, with an interesting discussion of persona and the masks and spaces that he creates when he's making songs:
