VIDEO OF THE DAY: How An Architectural Photographer Does His Thing

How does an architectural photographer work on a project? That's the question London, England-based Canadian filmmaker Jason Breckenridge is exploring in the first edition of his new series of short documentaries, 'Process'. The film is titled 'Shooting the Shard', and it follows architectural photographer Nic Lehoux (another Canadian) as he takes a series of photographs of the Shard, a new building under construction near London's waterfront.

Nic (who grew up across the street from Jason in Sherbrooke, Quebec) talks about his creative process, and the specific camera techniques he uses - including using classic lenses so that he can capture everything "in camera", rather than changing it in post - to capture his subjects, both human and architectural.
