We all see tons of logos every day: on food packaging, computers, album covers, and seemingly everywhere else. But how does a designer go about the daunting task of crafting an iconic logo? (Hint: lots of sweating and sketching and fear).
In this video from PBS Arts' OffBook series, some designers and logo historians discuss the history of logos, what they're for, and the process of crafting one. Among the various speakers is the creator of AC/DC's logo, who talks about the heavy metal "cliché" he helped create, and OffBook's own logo gets investigated. Check it out below:
