This country has produced some brilliant poets, few have had more lasting impact than Lt.
Colonel John McCrae. He is believed to have written "In Flanders Fields" on 3 May 1915 during the second battle at Ypres. In honour, we asked poet Saul Williams to list some of his favourite poets: Leonard Cohen, Audre Lorde, Bob Kaufman, Rumi & Hafiz and a true Canadian icon.
