Once hailed as the "baddest one-chick hit squad that ever hit town", actress Pam Grier has been kicking ass ever since she tore up the screen in 'Coffy'. A trailblazer for women in film and TV, she has forged a career out of playing strong, sexy ladies who battle injustice with a vengeance.

The iconic 'Foxy Brown', Pam remains the undisputed Queen of Blaxploitation films... plus the first African-American female to headline an action film! Not bad for a former Army brat who entered a beauty contest to raise her college tuition.

And in 1997, when Quentin Tarantino cast "the queen of women" in his cinematic homage to blaxploitation, 'Jackie Brown' - a whole new generation discovered the iconic Pam Grier.
