OSCAR WEEK: Philippe Falardeau for 'Monsieur Lazhar'

The 84th Academy Awards are two days away, and a Canadian film is nominated in the Foreign Language Film category. 'Monsieur Lazhar' won Best Canadian Feature at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, and it's shortlisted for Best Picture at the 2012 Genie Awards.

The film's director, Philippe Falardeau, stopped by the program recently to talk about adapting 'Monseiur Lazhar' from a one-man stageplay into a film, the challenges of portraying the immigrant experience, and his career as a filmmaker.
