David Mach enjoys turning everyday materials into stunning works of art - like his series of head sculptures made of matchsticks. In his latest work, he uses coat hangers to build massive statues of everything from Mickey Mouse's head to a giant gorilla.

In all the sculptures, the hooked part of the coat hanger sticks out of the form, sometimes straightened and sometimes still hooked. But given how much these things must weigh, you wouldn't want to hang them in your closet.
