"There's technology now that didn't even exist back then, and we still get 11 cents once in a while. Ringtones. Apparently, college kids get together, they're playing beer pong, they bet each other who knows the most lyrics from their parents' sitcoms, they place a bet, and then they order ringtones - I get 11 cents!"
