You Approved This Message? Ads From the Republican Race

The U.S. Republican primary race continues to generate some fascinating advertising: Rick Santorum released an attack ad yesterday targeting Mitt Romney. The ad features a Romney lookalike firing a paintball gun loaded with what appears to be mud at cutouts of Governor Santorum. The spot is designed as an attack on Romney's own attack ads.

Rick Santorum - "Rombo"

Of course, Santorum is not the only Republican candidate with interesting ads. Here is a selection of some of the more memorable ones thus far:

Rick Perry - "Strong"

Herman Cain - "Now is the time for action!"

Rick Perry - "President Zero"

Ron Paul - "Edgy Campaign Spot"

Newt Gingrich - "Mitt Romney's Blood Money" (unofficial ad from Winning Our Future, Gingrich-allied Super PAC)

Michelle Bachmann - "Iron Lady"
