If you've ever been to a country where they drive on the opposite side of the road, you know how weird and confusing it can be - at least, at first.

But have you ever thought about why people drive on the right side in some countries and on the left in others, and how those rules came to be?

Well, Henry Reich from the website MinuteEarth decided to look into it, and found out the rules apparently evolved from riding horses and driving livestock years ago.
