VIDEO OF THE DAY: Every Toy From the 1980s

From Transformers to marbles to floppy disks to simple wooden blocks, this stop motion video is a fast-paced two-minute tour of children's toys from the 1980s. Created by Micael Reynaud, a web designer, animator and illustrator who lives in France, and with music by 'Hunting Charlie's Band(e)', the vid includes hundreds of toys and objects.

It's a nostalgia-fest for any kid who had toys in the early eighties. For everyone else, it's a nice piece of cultural archaeology, and an impressive work of smooth stop-motion animation. Check it out below:
