It all started with a little joke.
Artist Steve Casino was eating peanuts one day, and he noticed that one of them was shaped a little bit like... Himself.
He grabbed a marker and drew a cartoon version of himself onto the shell. Then he showed one of his friends, with the line, "hey, I found a peanut that kind of looks like me."
It got him a laugh. So he decided to go a little further.
Here are the results. He's moved on from markers to paint, and created celebrity peanut portraits of all sorts of people (including a couple who've been in the red chair).
He says he always has to look for peanuts that are the right shape before he creates his portraits. And he always leaves the back bare so people can see that there's a peanut under there.
This is his take on John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) and Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols.
Here's John in the red chair last season.
Casino also created a peanut tribute to 'Star Trek'.
Check out Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, in the red chair.
He's also portrayed the Man in Black, Johnny Cash, alongside his wife June Carter Cash:
He went black and white for Lucy and Ricky from 'I Love Lucy'. He may have some 'splaining to do on that one:
And finally, here's a pairing that may not have occurred to you. No word on whether this constitutes a spoiler about who's writing the theme song to the next Bond movie.
