Every week we round up some of the most worthy destinations on the world wide web for your visiting pleasure. This week, that includes two trips to the very appealing real-world locale of Paris:
1. Gilles Vidal's Panoramas
Want to see the City of Light? You can channel your inner Owen Wilson-channelling-his-inner-Woody-Allen without leaving the comfort of your office. Gilles Vidal is a French photographer whose work includes stunning panoramic images that you can scroll around to explore from multiple angles, including one particularly impressive view of the city of Paris - from the tip-top of the Eiffel Tower!
2. La Blogothèque
While you're in Paris, you might want to check out some of the city's many cultural highlights, and maybe take in a little music. You can seek out a spot called La Blogothèque, where some of the world's best bands play when they're in town - or in fact one of many spots that bands play, as part of the Blogothèque website's series of Take-Away Shows, where musicians film unique, one-off performance in random parts of Paris. The series has yielded a number of beautiful and intimate performances, from Sigur Ros in a café to Saul Williams in the catacombs beneath the city. The result is a lovingly curated music blog that comes complete with its own series of musical films.

3. SoulPancake
You don't have to go to France (or a website with content from France) to feel like you've taken a worthwhile journey - especially when you can embark on intellectual travels with Dwight Schrute from The Office. OK, that's not quite true, but you can reflect on Life's Big Questions in the company of actor Rainn Wilson and his friends, who have put together the website SoulPancake to do just that. Looking to develop "thought-provoking content and creative engagement opportunities that encourage people to explore what it means to be human," the site is looking for users who want to start conversations about such topics as intuition, morality, time and beliefs.
