This is Street Cents' 17th year being on the air. The program has won many awards over the years including seven Geminis, an international Emmy, several New York Festivals awards, several Alliance Children and Television Awards, and recently, the Japan Minister of Foreign Affairs Prize for best program in the youth education category.
