Name: "McHottieJo"
Age: 18
Jo started her Camsite six months ago on her 18th birthday but she's been into web design since 2000. Jo says she started her site because she likes to be heard. She likes people reading what she has to say and giving her feedback.
"It's kind of cool when you get an email from somebody telling you that they're going through the same situations that you are, and that just reading your site made them feel that they weren't alone. (It's) almost like being the star of your own TV show."
Sexy pics
Jo says she doesn't put sexy pics on her site because, "My body is not something that I broadcast. I don't wear skimpy clothes in real life...so why should I do it on cam?"
Wish lists
Jo had a wish list posted for a while. That's a list of things you'd like to get from people who visit your Camsite. It's linked to online shopping sites - visitors can ship you stuff from your list - without finding out your name and address.
Jo received some gifts. But she's taken the list off her site. She's decided she's not comfortable receiving stuff from strangers. She says lots of Cam Girls make pleas for money on their sites. She doesn't have a problem with this but says it's really not very expensive to host and run your own site. Often you can get people to host you for free.
Creeps and stalkers
Jo says when she gets creepy messages asking her to do things like strip on her cam - she just closes them. She says she got a lot of these kinds of messages when she first started her site but says she just doesn't waste her time on 'sick-minded' people.
Jo worries a bit about the stalker issue. She provides as little personal information as possible on her site, used a fake address for her domain registration and a post office box for her wish list. She's had a few creepy incidents with guys offering her stuff and says she finds it weird when strangers recognize her from her Website.
