out it's because of statistics. Guys have a much higher accident rate than girls
do, so they get charged more for insurance. But Street Cents found there are
some way teens can keep insurance rates down.

HIV and AIDS
HIV/AIDS is a worldwide epidemic. But sometimes it seems like a distant threat.
New treatments and medications seem to keep the virus almost in check - in North
America. But new evidence suggests young Canadians, especially women aged 13-19
and young gay men, are becoming new risk groups for contracting HIV/AIDS. Street
Cents takes a look at why youth are at increased risk of contracting HIV and
shows how they can protect themselves.
