Melissa Terziyan from Montreal, Quebec wants to know if the Revo Styler really does "straighten curly and frizzy hair." Street Cents puts it to the test and finds that Revo is little more than an expensive replacement for what you can do with a round brush.

Stephanie Verreault from Montreal, Quebec has a lot of style. She describes her style as being casual and retro and says, "The clothes I wear represent the mood I'm in."


Whacked Out Productions

Eric Warner of Toronto, Ontario started booking bands in his hometown when he was 15-years-old. Now he's 19 and he books some of the best indie rock bands in North America. In the process, he has raked in more than $20,000 over the past three years.


The Hollywood Diet

Vanessa Reinhold of Toronto, Ontario wants to know if the Hollywood 48-Hour Diet really is an effective way to lose ten pounds of mostly fat in two days. Street Cents spoke to the experts and found out dieting Hollywood style isn't a sensible, effective, or recommended way to lose weight.

Cigarette covers

Skye Jordan, of Kingston, Ontario thinks it's irresponsible for big corporations like Zellers Select to sell cigarette covers appealing to youth. She's also disappointed in the company that makes the products in the first place.


Garbage Huggers

Andrew Cross of St. John's, Newfoundland makes and sells Garbage Huggers. A Garbage Hugger is protection you can throw over garbage bags, cans and bins to keep animals from getting in. Andrew makes the Huggers out of netting and rope and sells them from home and at a local hardware store.



This week, Street Cents finds out if the Revo Styer is Revo-lutionary or just really hard to use.
