How to Protect your money

Here’s checklist that will let you know if you’re doing a great job protecting your money, or if you should seriously think about protecting yourself.

Yes	No	Did you check with your provincial securities commission to see if Your advisor is registered to do business?

Yes	No	Did you get any of the agreements you made in writing?
Yes	No	Did you receive copies of all the documents you completed Or receipts for money you invested?
Yes	No	Did you read all of the documents carefully before signing them?
Yes	No	Did you receive a copy of the agreement or memorandum?
Yes	No	Did you receive a copy of the agreement or memorandum?
Yes	No	If you didn’t understand something, did you ask them to explain?
Yes	No	Did you get advice from a third person?
Yes	No	Were you given plenty of time when making an investment decision?
