Running Wear Essentials

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, fitness expert Jana Webb knows the esseential pieces to wear when running.

The Beginner

If you’re just getting started this outfit has all the essential pieces needed to get out there and start running! In the chillier temperatures you can layer up and as it gets warmer you’ve got all the pieces needed to run in warmer temperatures. Be sure to look for fabric that will wick away sweat to help keep you dry and comfortable. And be sure to get a shoe that has reflective markings in case you want to go for a run at night!

Indoor or Warm Weather

When running indoors or in warmer weather, you’ll want to keep cool and dry. Be sure to invest in a good sports bra that will keep you secure and that has fabric that will wick away sweat. For shoes, you’ll want something that's light-weight and breathable. Not everything needs to be super fitted. This poly/spandex mesh tank top has a loose, comfy fit but is also super breathable.

Inclement Weather

For the runner who is brave enough to take on inclement elements you’ll want to keep warm and dry. This vest is down-insulated to keep you warm, but also perforated in key areas to release perspiration. It'll also keep you visible in darker conditions. Be sure to invest in a Gortex shoe that will keep snow, slush, wind, and rain away from feet.
