Rework Your Favourite Piece of Clothing

It's not uncommon to overspend around the holidays, so January's the perfect time of year to rework what's in your closet. Take an old fave and transform it to make it current! Fashion expert Genny Iannucci shows us how to do just that, with these three viewers.

Anna's favourite piece is her Chanel inspired jacket, and she typically wears it to work with a skirt for a more business look, left.

Genny transformed Anna's favourite piece from business to a chic, fun, and casual look, perfect for weekend brunch or casual Friday. To loosen things up and relax the look, unzip the jacket, tjuze up the sleeves and add a bold, chunky necklace in place of classic pearls.

Relax the look further by teaming the dressy jacket with a t-shirt, and have some fun. Tweeds are the perfect backdrop for prints, like reptile, florals, stripes, or animal.

Rachel's favourite piece is her fitted jersey dress. She usually wears it dressed up for a night out with the girls with sheer legs, heels and some bling!

By reworking the dress and using it as a layering piece, the entire look is changed from a simple monochromatic look to a gorgeous mix of jewel tones. It's also transformed from an evening look to a relaxed day or work look!

Vita's favourite piece is her long black skirt and she typically wears it dressed up with sheer hosiery and pumps.

Long black skirts aren't just for the evening! Vita's long black skirt was reworked to transform it from a special occasion look to an everyday look. She can wear this look anytime - at work, or meeting friends for lunch.
