Behind-the-Scenes Fun with the S&C Audience

by in

Not only is being part of the Steven and Chris audience an exciting experience, but it’s also one that’s full of surprises. When the cameras stop rolling the fun doesn’t stop! In addition to audience Q&As, during commercial breaks our audience gets involved in a number of games and takes their chances at winning fantastic prizes. From beauty products to cookbooks to cappuccino machines, our in-studio giveaways are always enticing. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at some of the shenanigans our audience gets into at Studio 65!

What’s In Your Purse?

We’re always talking about different topics here on Steven and Chris. The rules with this game are simple: dig deep into your purse or pocket and if you happen to have an item related to our topic-of-the-day, then you go home with an item from our coveted prize basket.

Which Celebrity Am I?

One lucky audience member is called down to the front and is given a top hat to wear. Little does this person know that there’s a picture of a well-known celebrity attached to the hat. The trick is to ask your fellow audience “yes” or “no” questions and try and guess which celebrity you are. If you are correct, you’re a winner. If you’re incorrect, well, you’ll go home with a prize anyway!

Can You Do The Hula?

Do you have any hula hoop skills? Selected members of our audience battle it out against each other to see who can hula for the longest. Extra points go to those who use the hoop in unconventional ways.

The Balloon Grab

It’s a balloon-bopping time when our audience coordinators let loose a flock of balloons! Keep them afloat as we crank some music and if you’re holding a balloon when the music stops, you’re going home with a prize!

All That or a Bar of Soap

If you win a prize throughout the show, you have the chance to give it up for something potentially better (note the word “potentially”). Choose between two mysterious boxes: one contains “All That” (whatever that may be, but you can count on it being fabulous!) while the other contains a bar of soap. Ask the audience for help. Are you willing to take the gamble?
