Our mixologist Simon Ho brings the heat with this Barbados-inspired flaming rum punch!

The Flaming Tropic

Ingredients

1.5 oz gosling dark rum
1 oz over-proof rum
.5oz spiced rum
1 oz lime juice
1oz simple syrup
2 dashes of angostura bitters
Whole nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a shaker with ice, add dark rum, spiced rum, simple syrup, bitters and lime juice. Shake well.
  2. Pour into glass filled with crushed ice.
  3. Take half of a lime and squeeze the juice out if it.
  4. Place the lime on the top of your glass and pour over-proof rum into the lime.
  5. Light the lime on fire
  6. Grate nutmeg on lime while lit
  7. Flip lime over carefully
  8. Enjoy!
