Who doesn't like to indulge in treats, sweets and food over the holidays? To cap off your festive menu, mixologist Simon Ho, suggests you try this spicy, warm cocktail.
1 oz. brandy
1/2 oz. Goldschlager
1/2 oz. pumpkin spice simple syrup
hot mulled apple cider
Pour alcohol and simple syrup into a glass mug. Top with hot mulled apple cider and garnish with cinnamon stick. Cheers!
4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups of water
- Bring water to a boil in a medium-size saucepan. Add sugar and spices and stir until well dissovled. Lower heat on stove and let mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes. Keep stirring the whole time.
- Store syrup in glass bottle in fridge and break it out when you're ready for a festive cocktail Be warned: The consistency of this syrup is thick and slick.
