Kitchen Q & A: Chuck Hughes

Chef Chuck Hughes has made a career out of keeping his plate full. Not only does the extroverted entrepreneur run two trendy restaurants in Old Montreal (and Le Bremner), he also has penned a bestselling cookbook, Garde Manger (HarperCollins, 2011), and stars in two reality shows on the Food Network (Chuck's Day Off and Chuck's Week Off: Mexico).

If that wasn't enough, Hughes also won the cooking show Iron Chef America last year - the youngest Canadian chef to win on the show, we might add!

We caught up with the tattooed overachiever to chat about his mother's influence on his cooking career and what Chuck actually does on his day off.
