Made with all-natural ingredients, your best furry friend won't be able to resist these tasty bites by Chef Jo Lusted.
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup crispy cooked and coarsely crumbled bacon
1 tbsp baking powder
1 cup all-natural peanut butter
1/2 cup 2% milk
Preheat oven to 400F.
Puree oats, bacon and baking powder until oats are a fine powder.
Add peanut butter and milk and pulse until mixture forms a ball. Using a spatula, scrape mixture from food processor and form into a ball. Flatten into a 2-inch thick disk and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Remove plastic an roll out dough between 2 pieces of wax or parchment paper to about 1/4-inch thick. Cut into 1-inch squares and arrange on a parchment lined baking tray with at least ¼-inch in between each piece.
Bake for about 15 minutes until light golden brown. Allow to cool completely and store in a sealed container.
Note: These treats are Maxi-approved! She gobbled half a tray of them before the show while we weren't looking!
