Broccoli Caesar Salad


This delicious twist on a Caesar salad is great with grilled steak or chicken. Serve salad warm or cold. From In The Kitchen's Stefano Faita.

Broccoli Caesar Salad by Stefano Faita


1 large head broccoli, cut into florets, blanched or steamed, drained well
3 tbsp mayonnaise
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
to taste salt and freshly ground pepper
2 slices pancetta or bacon, cooked and chopped
for garnishing Parmesan cheese


  1. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Parmesan, olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and salt and pepper.
  2. Add broccoli and toss to combine. Finish with pancetta and freshly grated Parmesan, or use a vegetable peeler to garnish with shards of Parmesan cheese.

Yield: 4 servings
