“Blueberry” Tea Cocktail


Yes, you read that right: a blueberry cocktail without any actual blueberry in it. And how does this delicious winter cocktail get that blueberry flavour? Mixologist Simon Ho, who contributed this recipe, has a simple answer: "bartender science."

Blueberry tea cocktail


1 oz triple sec (or other orange liqueur)
1 oz amaretto
1 oz orange pekoe tea
2-inch strip orange zest


  1. Mix together triple sec, amaretto and hot orange pekoe tea in a mug.
  2. Squeeze orange zest over the cocktail to release essential oils and drop peel into mug.
