Bacon Sticky Buns

1 sheet frozen, rolled puff pastry, defrosted
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup strip bacon, cooked (until soft, not crisp), cooled and chopped
1/3 cup pecans, chopped and toasted

  1. Mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon together. Lay puff pastry on a flat surface and sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle with bacon and pecans.
  2. Starting with side closest to you, roll pastry over filling like a jelly roll, finishing with the seam-side down. Lay roll on a parchment-lined baking sheet, loosely cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 30 minutes until it's firm enough to slice.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  4. Slice roll into 1-in. wheels and lay on baking sheet, evenly spaced.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes until pastry is golden and flaky, and sugar is bubbly. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
