The sorbet/ice cream trend is perfect for spring decor. It can bring a modern, sleek or traditional feel to your room and works great with neutrals and metallics. These colours are soft or faded but not "muddy." Think yellow, blue, green, turquoise, pink, coral and orange bases. Andrea Ford shows us just how simple it is to work this trend into our homes for spring.

Start small with accessories and accents
Add textiles like rugs and pillows in faded stripes (neapolitan!), vases and bedding. They provide the perfect small hits of colour around your home and are easily switched out once the season is over.
Colour block your walls
Try colour blocking or ombré stripes. You can paint one feature wall for big impact and its a relatively small investment.
Go with modern pieces
Choose solid colors in modern pieces, dip dye (fashion influence), or solid linens. This is definitely a larger investment so really think about whether or not you can live with it year round.
Take it outside
Look outside for the newest colours in outdoor furniture and accessories. These trends generally tend to be nautical or exotic, but this spring the trend is much more fresh, which is really fun for entertaining.
