Size doesn't always matter! Indeed, small spaces can have still have big style. Just keep these tips in mind to make sure you get the most out of your little living room.

Be neutral.

Neutral colours never go out of style. Choose a classic palette for walls and furnishings to give the room a timeless feel.

Don't downsize.

Properly scaled seating will make the room look proportional and won't waste valuable space. But that doesn't mean small. Don't be afraid of a big, comfortable sofa or a couple of relaxed accent chairs to optimize seating.

Tuck away the tech.

Disguise media components in a console table. Take the focus off the television with artwork and stunning lighting.

Go glam.

Glam it up with hits of matted gold or bold colours throughout the room.

Get grounded.

While it may be tempting to opt for a plain rug, anchor the space with something more interesting instead to add some wow to the room. Make sure the rug is of a good size to properly ground all of the furniture. If you go too small, the furniture will look out of place.
