Keep the Room Gender Neutral
Don't feel the need to be gender specific with your approach to a kids room. Keep the room clean and uncomplicated. A modern and eclectic room with have longevity and your decor items will stay with your kids as they grow older.
Add Shots of Colour
Introduce colour in your rug and select pieces of furniture. When considering colour, opt for tones that can work in other areas of the home.
Go Graphic on the Wall
Painting a large graphic on a wall will give you an instant hit of creativity while saving you money on paint! Whimsical art installations are also a great alternative to wallpaper.
When accessorizing a creative kids room, go for classics and well made objects that can be reinterpreted as the child grows older.
