3 Easy Ways to Reuse Corks

After hosting many parties and dinners, you may find yourself with an abundance of corks lying around. Instead of throwing them away, we have easy and trendy ideas to make new items out of them.

First, make sure to steam the corks in a pot to make them soft and easy to cut through. If you skip this step and cut the corks, the dry corks will break and leave a mess.

Decorative Vase

Directions

Cut the corks in half and glue the flat sides onto a glass vase. You may cover the vase entirely or as you wish to style it.

Utility knife

Directions

Cut corks in half, then place and glue them onto the cork tile in a square formation. Once they are dried onto the tile, cut around the shape with a utility knife.

Directions

Take a full cork and insert a skewer deep inside of it until it’s secure and glue the label onto the cork. You may also directly write on the cork with a permanent marker.
