Bangs have been around since ancient Egypt, but thanks to Michelle Obama they're hotter than ever. Hair expert Matthew Collins shares his tips on how to trim your own bangs.
- Use the comb as a guide. Hold it between your forehead and the scissors to prevent cutting yourself and to maintain a clean line.
- Dry cut your bangs so you know exactly how long they will end up.
- Always trim your bangs on an angle in small sections to avoid any drastic cuts.
The most important tip:
Before you begin, section your bangs into a top and bottom layer. Start cutting the bottom layer first; that way if you make any mistakes you can do it all again on top!
