You've invited friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner, you're about to serve your big meal, and then disaster strikes. Your turkey has dried up. Bring chicken stock to a simmer in a shallow saucepan
Slice up turkey pieces
Add turkey to chicken stock and let simmer for 10 seconds
Remove and place on serving platter
Drizzle with gravy

Gluey Mashed Potatoes
Put the gluey potatoes back into your pot and reheat.
Get a box of instant mashed potato flakes.
Add approximately the same amount of instant potato flakes as gluey potato. Add enough milk to moisten as needed. Stir until the potato consistency has improved. Taste test! They may be good enough to eat!
Spread into a casserole and top with homemade breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
Top with knobs of butter.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown and serve.

Lumpy Gravy: Three Fixes
Fix #1: Put an immersion blender into your pot of gravy and blitz the lumps away!
Fix #2: If you don't have an immersion blender, pour the gravy into a regular blender and blitz.
Fix #3: Pour your gravy into a fine mesh sieve (with bowl underneath) and strain the lumps out.
