The design of a master bedroom needs to be well thought through. You have to make both him and her happy as this space for both should be a retreat in your home. Dee Dee Taylor was in studio to share with us her top tips for designing your master bedroom.

Dee Dee's Design Rules:

1. Your cocktail table height should not exceed your sofa seat height. You want to be able to put up your feet comfortably.

2. Your mirror above your console should be narrower than the console itself.

3. Anywhere you sit, you should have a place to put down a drink. The height of the table should be lower than the arm of the chair.
