Who doesn't love a party? But when doing any sort of entertaining, one of the biggest hassles is trying to figure how to set up your bar. Steven and Chris are coming to the rescue and will take a home bar and style it 3 ways - starting with a good design, taking it to a better design and, of course, finishing with the best design.
Look #1 - Good
A kitchen island (at bar height), with a stainless steel top and shelf below is the perfect platform to stage the 'main' bar. Trays help define the spaces for liquor bottles - don't forget to put out bar tools, a book of cocktail recipes, cutting boards and snacks.

HOMESENSELook #2 - Better
There's always a 'bar fly' that needs a place to sit - adding 2 stools provides ample seating (at least for 2). An over-sized clock is fun and extra storage on wall shelves add interest above the bar.

HOMESENSELook #3 - Best
In order to gain more surface area and spread out your bar area - portable stations are a great solution. Here we used a portable cooler on casters (inside is where you can store your extra bags of ice), on top trays are placed with snacks (easy to move around), and a tray table can hold your 'theme' or 'specialty' drinks.
