Design Expert Cobi Ladner says there is a floral out there for everyone!
Cobi says florals can look contemporary and hip if treated right. She suggests adding ONE bold floral to your room.
If you're going to add one floral piece to your space, this beautiful chair featuring green apple blossoms is a great place to start!

Nothing makes a room feel brighter or more special than flowers! These days, faux flowers are done so well that you can barely tell the difference.
Cobi's Tip: When it comes to real flowers, the biggest mistake people make is to leave the stems too long and leggy or not have the right fitting vase so the stems lean over. Simplicity and proportion are the key.

When it comes to art, look for graphic, more singular stems rather than a soft Monet style or heavily stylized 'still life'. Just as flower arrangements have become less 'arranged looking' in the vase, art is the same.

If you're going to go with floral drapery, make it bold and turn it into a statement.
Cobi's Tip: because there is quite a bit of fabric in drapery, keep floral at a minimum elsewhere in the room.

Floral prints will always be pretty, but if you want a more current look with them - think GRAPHIC - such as the print on this stunning rug.
From mini-prints to bold graphics to all-over florals...Toss pillows are where you can have some fun and express your style.
Cobi's Tip: Curvy florals mix well with more linear designs like stripes and geometrics. You can mix patterns in pillows - as long as the colours tie in. Mix florals with other prints - stripes, geometrics - and see how quickly the room comes alive!
