We were given these two chairs, and are wondering about re-upholstery? Any other suggestions would be great (drapery, etc.)

• Re-upholstering a chair can be quite expensive, often more than the cost of a new chair, so you really have to Love a chair in order to commit to re-upholstering

• What we are saying here is, that we are not sure that these chairs warrant being re-upholstered! - so hand the hand-me down back
  
  
• You don't really have a ton of space around your beautiful picture window, so in this instance we would suggest not putting up a drapery treatment. We don't often suggest this, but if privacy is not an issue, we would leave them as is.
