Question:
Last year we completely renovated our kitchen. I am in love with it but feel like it is still not complete. I am struggling with the backsplash and window treatments and would really welcome some help
Any suggestions to pull this space together would be great

We are going to encourage you to get back in touch with your cabinet maker because we find the blank space bellow the bulkhead slightly awkward. We think that you could have a custom piece made here, perhaps a wine rack, which will help bring the upper cabinet line to the edge of the wall.
We would like to see you do a backsplash with glass tile. We like the look of this muted green colour. The green will tie in well with the countertop.

We would like to see you do a soft roman here. We want you to create the illusion of a larger window by starting your roman at the ceiling.
When doing something like this you will have to be sure that the curtain is never opened to reveal the upper casing. We would like to see you do something simple and crisp with a punch of clean white.
When addressing an eating area, we love the idea of a glass top married to clean and simple chairs - just like this one!
