Question: Hi Steven and Chris, I need your expertise! We have lived in this home for 2 years just using the existing furniture from our old home. I desperately want to change it but have no clue where to start. I like a calm and serene contemporary look.
Look forward to hearing from you, Lisa
Ask Steven and Chris:
Because your living room and kitchen are open concept to each other, it is important to avoid visual obstructions that hinder flow.
This is the floorplan that we would like to see you adopt in your space. Traffic will have much more flow in the new plan.
To maintain this "open and airy" feel, we love this glass coffee table. Functional, but doesn't have visual weight.

In order to maximize the seating in your space, the use of a sectional along the back wall and some slipper chairs perpendicular to the kitchen will be an ideal choice. We love this sectional!
