Steven created 3 simple beautiful wall art DIY projects that you can try in your home. Here how... 1. Epoxied Photograph Mounted on Artist Board
The project: Mounting a travel photo onto artist board and epoxying it for a sleek modern look.
What you'll need:
Wood Painting Panel
Photograph (printed to the dimensions of the painting panel)
Black Paint
Paint Brush
Spray Adhesive
Epoxy
Sponge Brush
Steps:
1. Based on the size of your painting panel, have your photograph
printed in the same size. Stronger and sturdier paper will yield the
best results.
2. Paint the sides of your painting panel black (any colour that corresponds with your photograph will do).
3. Spray the back of your photograph with your spray adhesive.
4. Adhere the photo to the front of your painting panel (if your photo
is to large and hanging over the edges, remove the excess by turning
your painting panel upside down and using the edges as a guide for your
exacto blade)
5. Once your photo is adhered allow approximately 10-15 minutes for the spray adhesive to dry thoroughly.
6. Follow the instructions to activate your epoxy and pour it directly onto your photograph.
7. Working quickly, use your sponge brush to distribute the epoxy
evenly over the entire surface. Be sure to finish with the sides to
keep the gloss looking uniform.
