Watch this segment in Episode 138.

Question #1. Amy from Chester, Nova Scotia writes:

Hi Fabio! I use a lot of different styling products on a daily basis - and now it feels like no matter how many times I shampoo, I can never really get my hair clean.  What's the best way to remove build-up?

FABIO SAYS:
For the buildup issue I've found the best way to remove buildup naturally is by using baking soda and warm water. A 3:1 ratio would be great. Apple cider is also good, except some people don't like the odor. Warm water is necessary in order to open the hair shaft, followed by a cool rinse.

Question #2. Marina in the studio audience asks:

Fabio, I have long hair and I love it but I find it's really boring. I fear going to a salon because I think they are going to cut my hair short. Is it possible for my to keep my long hair but add style?  HELP!

Hair.jpgFABIO SAYS:
Your face is oval and an oval face can always use a bang or some fringe.  I recommend this look for you because it really helps frame your face. Again, because you have a long face - super straight hair that's all one length just does not work. You need to bring back the volume by adding a lot of layers to this cut.

Question #3. Gina from Breslaw, Ontario writes.

Hi Fabio! I think I need a change! Currently I am dying my hair black and straight ironing it every day. I am wondering if I need bangs, and have always dreamed of going blonde - can you give me a new look that will really work for me?

FABIO SAYS:
GINA - forget about going blonde!  Lot's of women have blonde ambitions... the trouble is you have olive skin and it just does not work well with blonde hair. I do, however, recommend you stop dying your hair black - it's too dark for you. Go with a deep, dark brown colour and if you want you can add some warm highlights.
