Visit this CBC news page for a list of ways that you can help relief efforts in Haiti.

There you'll find how to get involved in, or give money to, relief efforts and stay connected with those still in Haiti.

The impoverished Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince was hit with a devastating earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010 and urgent help is needed. According to the Canadian Red Cross, it is estimated that 3 million people have been affected, although the collapse of several buildings, amongst other factors, means the number fatalities and people affected is still unknown. The Canadian Red Cross also estimates that 200,000 people have been left homeless.

The CBC support list will tell you what organizations like the Canadian Red Cross, UNICEF Canada and Médecins Sans Frontières Canada are doing to provide relief in Haiti, how you can donate money by phone, text or online, and how to evaluate a charity before making a donation if you would like to explore other options.
