We all have a collection of delicates in our wardrobe that need special care. Liliana from Linea Intima showed us how to keep our delicates looking fabulous wear after wear!

Bras
Bras should be washed after every wear - perfumes, lotions and perspiration can mark fabrics and start to wear down the integrity of the bra

Hand washing
Fill your sink or a deep bowl with cold water add a capful of fine washing liquid and let it mix with the water
Soak your bra - no more than 5 minutes
Agitate or rub gently
Rinse with cold water
Gently squeeze out excess water - Do not wring!
Now this may not be possible for everyone considering peoples busy lifestyle in which case...

Machine Wash
Use a lingerie bag or pillowcase always - prevents the bra from twisting, stretching or tangling with other pieces or around the agitator
Set your machine on the delicate cycle!
Use a gentle detergent (liquid preferably, it dissolves quickly and does not leave residue) - do not use your regular detergent

Drying
Reshape your bra while it's wet
Line dry or lay flat on a towel
Keep away from radiators or sunshine as they will break down the fibers

Hosiery and Tights
Wash by hand in cold, using mild detergent, thoroughly rinse your hosiery to remove any residue
To dry, place one or two pairs of pantyhose on a towel, roll up and squeeze towel gently. This eliminates stretching when hanging hosiery to dry. Do not put in dryer - ever
Avoid washing your hosiery every time you wear them. The more you wash the weaker the fibers become and the more misshapen your tights or hose will become.

Silks
Better to hand wash silk than dry-clean. Dry cleaning silk can cause the garment to lose its shape and style.
Use mild detergents
Do not soak silk as this can cause it to run or fade
Always use cold water
Never use bleach on silk
Dry flat on a towel

Misc.
Hand washing can be relaxing; time for yourself,takes 5 minutes
Men's care for undergarments - boxer/briefs, T- shirts and socks
Hot water and keep them separate
