It's been a less-than-stellar few days for fans of both the Edmonton Oilers and the NFL after some high-profile visits to Seattle by Daryl Katz and a crew of replacement referees.

Katz, owner of the Edmonton (for now, anyway) Oilers, toured the city under the guise of moving the team away from the "City of Champions" after getting into a tiff with the city over how much cash he wants them to kick into the building of a new venue for the team.

Meanwhile, cries for the NFL to bring back their officials grew as loud as the 12th man at Seattle's Century Link Stadium after the host Seahawks won on a hotly disputed last-second call against the visiting Green Bay Packers.
