Weber was due to become a restricted free agent on July 1. The deal is for three years and $13.5 million US.
Weber finished with six goals and 14 assists and a minus-6 rating in 54 games the past season, limited by leg and knee injuries. The defenceman has 25 goals and 45 assists in 161 NHL games.
Weber, 22, had a goal and an assist in six games at the world championships in May as Canada won the silver medal. The Sicamous, B.C., native won gold with Canada last year and with Canada's world junior team in 2005.
Nashville general manager David Poile has now signed all three of the team's restricted free agent priorities. Forward Martin Erat was signed to a seven-year, $31.5-million US deal, while defenceman Ryan Suter inked a new contract for $14 million over four years.
